Counselling
If you are looking for help in working through a period of emotional difficulty or personal growth, counselling could make a profound difference to your life. The co-owner of The Yoga Space, Rob Schütze, offers a range of counselling services for individuals, couples, families and groups. Rob has completed a four-year degree in Psychology and is an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society. His research on how mindfulness relates to the experience and treatment of chronic pain recently earned him the Australian Psychological Society Prize in Psychology.
Many people find benefit in seeking support for depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, work-related stress, chronic pain, grief and self-actualisation. Rob offers a warm and compassionate forum in which to explore these and other issues in order to gain greater personal insight and find ways of transforming your life.
Rob has a particular interest in using therapies that promote mindfulness, or non-judgmental awareness of present-moment experiences. He offers Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy for depression and for chronic pain, both in groups and individually.
If you would like to book an appointment you can contact Rob on (08) 6262 1955 or rob@yogaspace.com.au.
