Do you wish to deepen your understanding of yoga in a remote and extraordinary location? After an amazing first retreat at Eco Beach in 2010 we look forward to joining you again in the middle of a Perth winter to escape to the beauty and serenity of Eco Beach Wilderness Retreat. Eco Beach is a blissful, quiet paradise in the North West of Western Australia Eco Beach Wilderness Retreat is a multi award winning eco retreat set amongst pristine and untouched beach and wilderness an hour south of Broome. With eco-friendly luxury safari style eco tents and eco villas eco beach wilderness retreat offers an environment of serenity and beauty in which to practice yoga. The yoga room has amazing views of the beach, ocean and bush with bamboo floors. Spend the mornings deepening your yoga practice and the evenings in guided mindfulness meditation and relaxation sessions. Led by Jean Byrne (PhD) and Rob Schutze, this retreat is an opportunity to get away and examine your life from a fresh perspective. The focus of the retreat is the remebering of our most relaxed and peaceful self. Through Vinyasa Yoga classes, Yin Yoga, meditation, relaxation and visualisation exercises we will spend our time deeply resting and renewing our passion for yoga and life, all in the surrounds of the stunning Eco Beach Wilderness Retreat. There are a variety of accommodation options at Eco Beach Wilderness Retreat to suit all budgets. All options are well appointed with ensuite and balconies. Meals consist of sumptous vegetarian food, all freshly prepared by the on site chef. In 2010 the food was amazing! The retreat cost is inclusive of accommodation, meals, transfers from Broome and your yoga tuition. Join us for an unforgettable escape to retreat, rest and realise your most peaceful self. Garden View Eco Tent (4ppl) $860 / $700 (fan) We suggest the Garden View Eco Villas as the best accommodation for value for money. They have a lovely outlook over the native vegetation and are often well shaded. Transport to Eco Beach Retreat will be by coach transfer at 2pm Friday 3rd June from either the airport or central Broome. |

Arrive in Broome by 1pm
4-5:30pm: The Flow of Yoga
In this class use the matching of breath and movement to enter a meditative flow, moving mindfully from one posture to the next according to your ability.
5:30-6pm Lake Meditation
Using the work of Jon Kabbat Zinn we draw on the imagery of a lake, deep and still to connect with our most peaceful self.
6:30pm: DINNER
Sat 4th June 2011
7:30-9am Developing the Flow of Yoga
Building on the class the previous night, deepening your awareness of your breath through simple pranayama and integrating this breath awareness into a stronger flow.
9-9:30am Mountain Meditation
Using the archetype of the mountain, we connect with our own inner strength and steadiness.
9:30am BREAKFAST
FREE TIME, pool, walks, massages
1:30pm LUNCH
FREE TIME, pool, walks, massages, guided tours, nap!
4pm: Yoga for Your Core
Practice a sequence of postures indeed to bring awareness to the yogic muscular locks (bandhas) as our centre of stability, strength and alignment in our practice.
4:30-6pm: Restorative Yoga
Enjoy a practice of quiet yoga to allow your body and mind to enter a state of deep rest.
6:30pm: DINNER
Sun 5th June
7:30-9am Yin/Yang Yoga
Blend the static postures of Yin with flowing movements in order to gain the benefits of both practices.
9-9:30am Mindfulness Meditation
Begin to develop your own practice of mindfulness meditation and learn how to sit with an awareness of your breathing ad gain a deeper understanding into the workings of your own mind.
9:30am BREAKFAST
FREE TIME: pool, walks, massages

Monday 26th
7-8am Yin Yoga
Feel a sense of greater spaciousness and freedom in your joints through the practice of Yin.
8-9am Deep Rest
Finish Your retreat with an hour of deep rest. We will move our awareness through the body in order to become aware of what is present in the body and through the breath learn how to consciously let go of the thoughts that undermine our ability to relax.
9am BREAKFAST
10:30am DEPART for Broome (approx 1.5 hours)
