Active Birth Workshops
Join Jean Byrne of The Yoga Space and Zoe Islip (midwife) from Hush Postnatal Services for an informative and relaxing
afternoon learning how to have an empowered and positive birth experience. Education and awareness are the keys to having an
empowering birth experience and this afternoon workshop can help you to prepare for this life-giving event. We encourage
women at all stages of their pregnancy to attend. This event will inspire you to dedicate time to mentally and physically
preparing yourself for birth and mothering. Support persons are encouraged to attend. Afternoon tea is provided.

Dr Jean Byrne
Jean is an Authorised Ashtanga teacher and senior member of the Yoga Teachers Association of Australia. She is passionate about yoga for pregnancy birth and beyond and specializes in pregnancy and post-natal yoga. Jean is the mother of a baby boy, Jamie, who she gave birth to in 2007 using yoga and meditation techniques.
Zoe Islip
Zoe is a registered midwife and specializes in birth education and post-natal care. She runs Hush Post natal services. A mother of 2 girls, Zoe believes in the ability of all women to have a conscious birth and empowers women to do so through her active birth workshops.
