What our graduates are saying:
I have to thank you, Jean and Laila especially for the encouragement and understanding that I have been afforded. This course has well and truly changed my life. The framework that you have set out for the course although challenging is second to none. I have a real belief that the journey that students experience as part of the teacher training is changing lives. I am currently enjoying my personal practice (generally!)…still focusing on hip opening! and undertaking some volunteer teaching with a neighbour who has MS and filling in for an occasional class at Yoga on Harris, and I have a wholehearted belief that that yoga is a key part of my life.
Surprisingly I was very inspired by Chandrika’s workshop on yoga therapy on Friday which got me thinking about the next steps. I did laugh that a course like Yoga Therapy would probably take me 20 years to complete so I wouldn’t rush in just yet!! But you never know what the next few years may bring.
I have observed the richness of experience of a trainee at Yoga space has certainly grown with time. The community of teachers with the use of the group facebook, the ability to attend Mysore classes in the evenings, and the amazing line up of passionate, experienced and humble teachers that take time to work with the trainees. I have certainly felt welcomed, supported, challenged and loved.
A little bit of Stockholm syndrome may be creeping in as I finish the program…… I look back on the experience of the last 5 years with a warm and full heart and I am so excited about the next steps of my life journey.
Jean and Laila you have certainly helped me to fill my bucket. Your hard work and commitment makes a real difference to so many.
Namaste
