WHY YOGA AND MINDFULNESS?
Backed by research
Recent research reviews find yoga is effective for persistent pain, improving pain, disability and quality of life, with a safety profile similar to exercise. In mindfulness programs, time spent in mindful movement was more strongly linked to reduced distress than other practices.
"I thought about my self-compassion image and spoke to myself with kindness. Being self-compassionate and doing less helped me feel like a better mum."

WHY WE CREATED THIS
At The Yoga Space, we designed our Healing Hatha class with pelvic pain in mind, drawing on our own clinical research. So many women told us they'd felt dismissed and alone with their pain. This course brings our approach to you at home, wherever you are, so you can feel more at home in your body again.

Questions
Is this course suitable if I have endometriosis?
Yes. The course is designed for persistent pelvic pain, including endometriosis-related pain. It works alongside, not instead of, care from your GP, gynaecologist or pelvic health physiotherapist.
Do I need yoga experience?
No. Everything is gentle, with options, and you can rest at any time.
How much time do I need?
Most practices take 5 to 20 minutes. The talk is an hour, and you can watch it in parts. A simple 7-day practice helps you fit it into daily life.
Will this replace my medical care?
No. It's designed to complement care from your GP, specialist or pelvic health physiotherapist.
What if I'm having a flare?
Many practices can be done lying down, and on harder days the breathing alone is enough.
How long do I have access?
3 months from when you start, to practise as often as you like.
